Apparently, according to Musikbyrån, Hässleholm is known
for its electronica. They had an interview with some
of the people in that scene. Did you know? I had no clue.

Had a nice walk with Lucky last Saturday. It was nice weather,
a little bit cold but sunny. We took a walk at Ljungdalaslingan
and then we played a little at Ljungdalaskolan.

Nytt jobb

Har nu jobbat på Sony Ericsson i Lund några veckor.
Mycket är nytt så det är mycket att stå i nu första tiden.

One Tree Hill

Såg sista episoden av One Tree Hill säsong 3 förra söndag. Väntar med spänning på säsong 4 som börjar i slutet av denna månad. Under tiden lyssnar jag på låtarna från serien. Det har varit många bra låtar som spelats under seriens gång faktiskt.

Försöker också hinna med att se några av de filmer som står på min "Att se"-lista. Jag är i någon sorts manga-humör just nu. Såg dessa de senaste dagarna:

* Howl's Moving Castle - Såg versionen som är dubbad på kantonesiska. Den suger rejält!
* Grave Of The Fireflies - Gillar verkligen denna.
* Princess Mononoke - Jag gillar denna med.

Laputa - Castle In The Sky kommer nog att bli nästa film för mig. Jag har sett den för länge sedan, men behöver nog se den igen.

Home Again

Been home for a couple of days now.

Here is the west coast route:

24/7: Leaving LA for Memphis. We flew via Atlanta, so we kind of headed east first and then west.

25/7: Memphis and Graceland. The guy had some collection of awards...

26/7: Atlanta and The World Of Coca Cola.

27/7: Sarasota - The Ringling Mansion.
Everglades - saw some alligators. We were very close to running over one of them when it was sunbathing by the road.
Miami - We stayed at a lousy hotel in Miami Beach...

28/7: Sightseeing in Miami - saw some celebrity houses.

29/7: Waverunning in Islamorada. Night promenade in Key West. Cockroaches in the hotel room.

30/7: Fort Lauderdale - went to the beach.
Cocoa Beach - thunderstorm.

31/7: Kennedy Space Center and NASA, and Disney Epcot Center.

1/8: Saint Augustine - Castillo de San Marcos; The Fountain Of Youth - Don't drink the water.
Savannah - late dinner.

2/8: Charleston - Charleston battery.
Southport and Cape Fear.
Washington, North Carolina.

3/8: The Outer Banks - The Wright Brothers Memorial, Kitty Hawk, Chincoteague, Chesapeak Bay Bridge.

4/8: Washington DC - Arlington Cemetery, Washington Monument, Abraham Lincoln Memorial, and more. Gettysburg.

5/8: New York - Saw Spamalot (musical).

6/8: Flying home.

7/8: Home at last.

Roadtrip - The West Coast

16/7: Hungtington Beach, Del Mar, San Diego

 

17/7: Balboa Park (San Diego), Tijuana, Palm Springs

 

18/7: Joshua Tree National Park, Mojave Desert Preserve, Las Vegas (Zumanity show)

 

19/7: Hoover Dam, Outlet shopping in Primm, Las Vegas

 

20/7: Back to Los Angeles. Jay Leno show - guests were Colin Farrell, Rainn Wilson and Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers.

A stalker went on stage during the show, so they had to redo some things...

 

21/7: Shopping electronics in Burbank, Universal studios and Citywalk again.

 

That's pretty much what happened during those days.

 

We will go to Melrose, UCLA, Venice and Malibu later today.

Universal Studios

Been to Universal Studios yesterday. It was supposed to be the warmest day of the year yesterday, so we wore sunblock.

 

We did Shrek 4D, Terminator 2D, Waterworld, The Studio Tour, and then we were pretty much tired of standing in lines in the heat. We bought a season's pass, so we'll probably return another day. We have some rides/attractions left.

 

At early afternoon we left the park and went shopping instead. We went to Westfield Fasion Square and spent a lot of time in an American Eagles store.

 

We went back to Universal Studios City walk later to see Superman returns on I-Max. Some selected scenes were in 3D, so everybody had to wear those stupid 3D glasses. It was a good movie though. 4 out of 5. Go see it.

 

So, we will be driving down the coast line to San Diego today. I won't be able to blog on the road... See you soon, bye bye then.

Touchdown in LA

Landed safely in LA yesterday and I even managed to get in the country. I suspect the photo shot they took at the immigration yesterday was not the best shot of me, but I guess I can live with that. :)

Going to Universal City at Hollywood soon to try my luck. Who knows, I might end up in one episode of some series.... :-D Just kidding, we're going to the amusement park, but the film studios are placed in there also...

We'll be heading down to San Diego and Tijuana tomorrow. We'll do some beach hopping too on our way down to SD.

Nja.... Alla väskor är inte packade än, men det känns som det är dags att börja packa dem på riktigt för på fredag bär det av. Vid sex-tiden åker vi från Hässleholm till Kastrup. Planet lyfter vid 10-tiden och vid 16-tiden landar jag och Johan på LAX.

Sedan är det 10 dagar i Kalifornien och sen ca 2 veckor från Memphis ner till Key West och sen upp till Washington och NYC...

Byte av cykelkedja

Usch, jag har dåligt samvete. Jobbade till sent idag och var tvungen att käka på McDonald's. Rolles gatukök vägrade sälja till mig nämligen. De hade precis stängt påstod de.

Och jag lovar - nästa gång jag byter cykelkedja ska det bara ta 3 h.

Min syn är tydligen helt perfekt!

Nåja, kanske inte helt perfekt, men så pass bra att optikern vägrade sälja mig ett par glasögon i alla fall.

Och mina gamla glasögon var tydligen helt FEL. Inte undra på att jag får ont i huvudet varje gång jag har dem på mig - även på den tiden de var helt nya, dvs för 12 år sedan.

Åker till USA nästa fredag. Har börjat småpacka och välja ut vilken resväska jag ska ha med mig.
